Joseph F. Purcell has extensive experience in leading several companies in a wide variety of industries to significant growth and market leadership. Prior to joining Global Cash Card in 2002 Mr. Purcell was CEO of P.C. Services a temporary staffing company. Previous to that Mr. Purcell served for ten years as CEO of Personnel Connection where revenues and profits exceeded industry averages.
Mr. Purcell has led a number of mergers and acquisitions which includes the sale of Personnel Connection to a public company. Mr. Purcell has earned the reputation among his peers as a "Business Builder."
Born in Newark New Jersey, Mr. Purcell attended Rutgers and Seton Hall University.
Responsible for day to day operations since its inception, Mr. Purcell has helped grow Global Cash Card from a concept to an industry leader in customized payroll solutions.
With his extensive experience in the Financial and Payroll industry Mr. Purcell is uniquely qualified to lead Global Cash Card's continued growth as a payment innovator.
Prior to founding Global Cash Card Mr. Purcell spent 15 years in the Staffing Industry running two successful Staffing Companies. Mr. Purcell attended the University Southern California and currently resides in Orange County California.
Richard Elliot joined Global Cash Card, Inc. in 2002 as Chief Technical Officer. Continuing his extraordinary track record of technology innovation that spans over 16 years, Mr. Elliot manages all technical operations for the company.
Mr. Elliot co-founded PacificNet, an Internet Service Provider, in 1995. Serving as President, CEO, CTO, and Majority Owner, Mr. Elliot steered the company into the custom Internet software development arena with targeted niche market Internet solutions such as VISP (Virtual Internet Service Provider). The first company to utilize "VISP" was Excel Telecommunications, followed closely by SEGA for their Dreamcast Game Box.
In 1997, Mr. Elliot developed a means of delivering high-speed internet access by taking small unlicensed indoor radios, modifying them with Russian, declassified, military radio parts, putting them on mountain tops, and pointing them at populated areas. This innovation launched PacificNet's Broadband Wireless Division, one of the first High Speed Wireless Internet Access services.
In 2000, Mr. Elliot designed, programmed and deployed "Codesonics," a dynamic audio/visual content delivery system for the Radio broadcast Industry. This new system allows radio stations to add dynamic visual Internet content to compliment their on-air broadcast is now in its production deployment phase.
Mr. Elliot has pushed technological boundaries and creates innovative, successful solutions for the demands of global business. His creativity and technical expertise will allow him to continue providing viable, valuable technological solutions for the future.
Michael Purcell co-founded Global Cash Card, Inc. in 2002 as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Mr. Purcell previously held positions on the Board of Directors at two successful temporary staffing organizations, P.C. Services, Inc., a Los Angeles based organization and Personnel Connection, Inc., a nationwide company. Mr. Purcell's track record in sales, sales management and operations provides a solid base for his duties and responsibilities with Global Cash Card.
As Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Purcell develops key marketing initiatives for the company, including building strong partnerships with organizations such as the American Payroll Association and the American StaffingAssociation. Mr. Purcell emphasizes education as a key component to growth, which is why Global Cash Card is one of the largest partners of the American Payroll Association, which provides education grants, scholarships, and training for thousands of payroll professionals across the United States.
In addition to his active involvement in the business, he supports many non-profit organizations including The Braille Institute of America, The Literacy Foundation, Argus Vet Hospital, Age Well Senior Services and The Walking with Anthony Foundation. Mr. Purcell has been nominated as Ernst & Young's 2012 Entrepreneur of the year.
Brian Peterson is the Chief Information Officer for Global Cash Card. Working with the Executive team, Brian provides technical leadership and vision drawing from an expansive array of experience. He is responsible for all Software Development, Data Management, Information Security, Information Systems and Infrastructure throughout the organization.
Mr. Peterson has held several senior level positions at firms including AT&T, Dell, and Foundstone, a Division of McAfee. Brian began his career in Silicon Valley in the 1990's, where he held several pivotal engineering roles within a variety of technology startups. He possesses over twenty years experience in technology and has served in several capacities at Global Cash Card since 2008 including Director of Information Security, VP Information Technology and Security, and CIO.
As the Chief Information Officer of Global Cash Card, Mr. Peterson is responsible for setting the overall strategy and direction of the Technology teams, as well as provide architectural consulting and mentoring of other technical team members. Mr. Peterson leads key initiatives to encourage innovation and ensure security, scalability, and reliability.
Miguel Cardenas joined Global Cash Card in 2004 as Customer Service Manager. Mr. Cardenas has over two decades of customer service and operations experience. He has developed and managed call centers for several organizations including Black & Decker and Price Pfister.
Mr. Cardenas has been a vital component in staffing, developing, and maintaining Global Cash Card as the leader within the payment industry. Throughout his tenure with Global Cash Card, he has been an integral part of the company and has held multiple key positions within the operations division, and most currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Operations.
As Senior Vice President of Operations, Mr. Cardenas is responsible for multiple day-to-day operations of key areas such as Customer Service, Operational Quality, Fraud, Chargeback, Tradeshow, Direct Deposit, Fulfillment, GCC University, and Account Management departments.
Mr. Cardenas graduated from The University of Phoenix with an emphasis in Foundations of Business.
Mr. Keleher has an fifteen-plus year record of exemplary-rated performance leading software development in the professional services sector. Mr. Keleher joined Global Cash Card in 2004. Pete's overall responsibility is for the design, architecture, and implementation of the proprietary software that is the cornerstone of Global Cash Card's payroll services. Pete continues to lead the development team and oversee overall product design, new development and client implementation.
Prior to Global Cash Card, Pete worked at Booz Allen Hamilton, Digitaria Interactive and Sprint. Pete holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of San Diego.
Lisa Knisely has been with Global Cash Card since January 2009 and has held various positions, from Manager of Field Support to Director of Field Support, and now Vice President of Field Support. She joined Global Cash Card after being one of their largest customers for two years. She has over 20 years experience in the staffing and service industry fields. Prior to Global Cash Card, Ms. Knisely was Vice President of Operations for Staffmark, where she oversaw field operations, employee training, and their ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System.
As Vice President of Field Support, Ms. Knisely and her team are responsible for the hands-on training and implementation of new and existing customers. They assist with setting customer goals, expectations, and benchmarking of their paperless pay initiatives. Their hands-on experience assists customers with achieving higher adoption rates of cardholders and teaches cardholders how to efficiently use their paycard. The Field Support Team is a major differentiator of the Global Cash Card programs.
Ms. Knisely attended the International Correspondence School in Business with an emphasis in Marketing. She has received several honors, including Northwest Ohio's 20 Under 40 Award, Staffmark's Director of Operations of the Year Award, Four County Career Center Hall of Fame, and the Arthritis Foundation's National Service Citation for Volunteers Award. She resides with her family in Bryan, Ohio.
Micki Nolan joined Global Cash Card in June 2002. With her experience in business and leadership she helped launch Global Cash Card into Corporate America. Ms. Nolan is responsible for a dedicated staff of Regional Sales Managers who have worked with Fortune 500 companies worldwide. As the former President of MNP Corporate Staffing she grew it to become one of the largest and most successful Executive Recruiting and Staffing firms in the country. Ms. Nolan brings over 30 plus years of sales experience along with the highest level of integrity and dedication to her clients.
Ms. Nolan is also Founder and President of the Walking With Anthony Foundation whose mission is to forever change the outcome of a spinal cord injury perceived as unchangeable. www.walkingwithanthony.org
